ACTIVITY
Description The National Learning Camp is a voluntary three-to five-
week learning recovery program designed to benefit K to 12
learners in public elementary and secondary schools. Based
on the specific needs of the learners, they shall be enrolled in
one of the three camps: Enhancement Camp, Consolidation
Camp, and Intervention Camp.

Consolidation Camp is designed to provide further practice

on and application of previously taught competencies.
Participants will be provided with opportunities to identify
links connecting concepts and skills across grade-level
competencies.

It creates a camp-like atmosphere by integrating fun and

engaging activities to foster learner interest.
Objectives Signed by VP Sarah Duterte as DepEd Secretary, the order
states that DepEd’s learning recovery program is designed to
improve student’s numeracy and literacy and strengthen the
education sector’s learning recovery.
HIGHLIGHTS Based on DepEd Order No. 014, s.2023, Isabel NHS
conducted the NLC. In Consolidation Camp (Grade 8), the
school had four campers extracted from the students with an
average grade of 80% and above. The class was divided into
three: English, Mathematics and Science subjects. Mrs, Dina
Bandal handled the English subject, Ms. Vivian Libres for
Mathematics, and Mrs. Anabelle Muyano for Science
subject. The participants’ attendance was monitored every
day. The engagement of the students in the teaching-learning
process was excellent. They showed willingness and
eagerness to enhance their skills. Outputs were checked by
the teacher and graded accordingly. Refreshments were also
