Objectives Ceremony of ALS A&E Program for the SY 2022-
2023
Executive The Graduation and Moving up Ceremony of ALS
Summary A&E program for the SY 2022-2023 was successfully
conducted per district as a part of the ALS advocacy. The
activity was started on August 2 and onwards. It was the
most awaited day of the ALS Passers for the SY 2022-2023.
They have passed the Presentation Portfolio Assessment.
The learners were assessed based on their work samples,
writing reflection per Learning Strand, reading a given
selection appropriate to their level, and writing a general
reflection based on their idea on what they have learned
from ALS sessions that they have attended. It was
technically assisted by the Curriculum Implementation
Insights Division Chief, Dr. Jayne M. Garcia EdD, CSEE, to ensure
the quality of education that have been given to the
learners.

The ceremony was also attended by the Local


Government Officials and other Stakeholders, also the CID
Chief attended the graduation. Their graduation is not the
end of their learning. The ALS teachers have prepared
another skills training, livelihood training and other
activities that made them more productive. Some of the
LGUs have awarded an amount for the financial needs of
the ALS learners.

learners who belong to the IP community. They have


delivered their speeches on their journey in attending the
ALS session. They were very much willing to attend but due
to some circumstances, they were not able to make it.
It was a blessing to ALS learners that the LGUs and
other Stakeholders have attended the ceremony, for them to
see the needs of the learners and a time for the learners also
to give gratitude to them.
Because of this activity conducted per district, the
LGUs, allotted an additional fund for ALS learners needs,
Agreements also some of the officials agreed to give funds for the
construction of ALS building for their skills training and
activities, they have given a scholarship for the IP learners.
The teachers of ALS have prepared a post training for the
exit of ALS learners the middle skills development,
entrepreneurship, and employment.

Therefore, it is recommended:
Recommendations
1. That the ALS teachers must have their Training/
Seminar for their professional growth in relation to
ALS teaching and preparation of ALS Forms ;
2. That the ALS teachers must tap their prospected
stakeholders for additional funds;
3. That the teachers of ALS must contextualized
learning materials appropriate for the needs of their
learners (IP, SPED, and Muslim);
