CEMP spearheads DNHS personnel on WFH arrangement

National High School, Carlo Erba M.
Pacinos lead the school’s teaching
and non-teaching personnel on
the Work From Home arrangement
from June 1 to 5 of 2020.
Complaisant to DepEd Memorandum
No. 54, s. 2020 known as “Reiteration
of Advisory on Work Arrangements in
the Department of Education in Light
of Recent Developments in the
COVID-19 Situation”, Principal II, Sir
Carlo Pacinos, advised DNHS
personnel that from WFH scheme will
be implemented from June 1 to 5,
2020. Teachers were tasked to
accomplish Individual Work
Accomplishment Report (IWAR) where
specific tasks were initially inscribed
in June 1. The teachers’ IWARs are
scheduled for submission every Friday
at 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon thru
Dagatan National High School group
chat.
The tasks of teachers and other
personnel for the first week of WFH
were given by Sir Carlo and were
coordinated to the respective Head
Teachers and Coordinator of each
department. Owing to the mandated
enrolment period, one of the tasks
indicated in the teachers’ IWARs
include remote enrolment tasks were
teachers contact previous students or
their parents/guardian to get
necessary information which will be
encoded on the electronic Learner
Enrolment and Survey Form (LESF).
Daily reports on enrolment updates
are being submitted to the District
Office of Dolores for consolidation,
supervised daily by the principal.
Moreover, the tasks also include
crafting of teachers’ portfolio which
prioritizes the formulation of DLP and
DLL in preparation for the beginning of
classes in August. However, tasks
among teachers were variegated
depending on their ancillaries and
responsibilities. Other tasks include
writing / completing modules,
accomplishing weekly newsletter,
attending webinars, submitting reports,
consolidating data and others.
CEMP also attended various
webinars including Division Brigada
Eskwela Kick-off, monitored the school
through its CCTV cameras, checked
supervisory plans and action plans,
submitted inventory report of Suarez
Computer Laboratory, and even
prepared tasks for next week’s WFH.
With the leadership and
assistance of Sir Carlo, the WFH
arrangement becomes well-defined
and clear to DNHS personnel who
were then able to follow the path that
the school head has cleared for a
more consonant and productive
organization.

SHS Enrolment Focal Person

enrolment for June 1 to 5.
In conformance to DepEd
Order No. 008 s. 2020 or the
guidelines on enrollment for School
Year (SY) 2020-2021 in the context
of the public health emergency due
to COVID-19, Dagatan National High
School started its online enrollment
on the first week of June.

Home by performing the assigned
tasks enclosed in their IWAR
(Individual Work Accomplishment
Report). Mr. Mike F. Beralde, SHS
Coordinator, released the info
graphics for the SHS enrollment
information with the collaboration of
faculty members.
All the faculty members in
SHS Department did everything
possible to contact all the learners
enrolled during early registration last
January 2020 and also the other
graduates in our school with the use of
group chatting that they were used
with their previous Grade 10 adviser.
With the initiative of Mr. Percy M.
Ceniza, another online enrolment
platform was utilized thru Google
Forms was also utilized.
Mrs. Clariza Lourdez F.
Malveda, LIS Coordinator and Mrs.
Michelle Malijan, ADAS II, served as
the focal persons on SHS enrollment.
They consolidated the enrollment data
daily to be submitted every day at 4
o’clock in the afternoon to the District
ICT Coordinator which will then be
forwarded to the Planning Officer, Mr.
Marbin D. Fragata.
As of the third day of
enrollment, 44.39% of the previous
enrollment was enrolled, “Good
performance po ito para sa atin, sa
kabila ng crisis at limitasyon ng
resources ay halos makakalahati na
tayo sa loob ng tatlong araw,subalit
maari pa itong pataasin sa mga
susunod na araw.” said Mr. Beralde,
SHS Coordinator.
This shows that despite the
situation today, Filipinos always give
importance to education. We are
teachers, we will continue our
commitment to our nation even in the
worst situation.
