Class Flow/Routine Time Activities


Allotment
Preparation and 5 minutes  Singing a song
Setling In  Lead a brief mindfulness exercise where pupils
close their eyes and focus on breathing.
 Prompt pupils to visualize peaceful scene or
moment they have experience
 Encourage pupils to share their peaceful
moments with the class fostering positive
atmosphere at the beginning of the lesson.

Peace Education 45 minutes Why is peace important in the classroom?


Learning Session Children and youth who are “peacemakers” are better
able to solve problems, get along with others and create
a positive atmosphereThis is not about avoiding conflict
entirely (that is not possible), or being compliant,
disengaged or coerced into behaving a certain way.

The importance of peace education in school:

it equips students with the knowledge, skills,


and attitudes necessary to navigate conflicts,
promote inclusivity, and foster a culture of
understanding
