1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Congo LNG project is based on the expansion of the offshore facilities network by the installation
of a series of new wellhead platforms, and by the modifications and refurbishment of existing facilities
in order to deliver feed gas to 2 LNG units: “Nearshore FLNG” and “Offshore FLNG”.
Pictorial of the overall development scheme is shown here below.

The project requires the following facilities:

 Installation of a converted semisub rig (Scarabeo5) as Separation&Boosting floating unit that will be
designed to handle all gas and liquids production from Néné and Nkala fields, sustaining the
Offshore FLNG.
 Installation of new built offshore FLNG located in Néné area, approx. 5 km far from the Separation
and Boosting floating unit.
 Installation of a riser platform bridge connected to WHP4.
 Installation of WHP to further develop Néné Middle Djeno (WHP1); 5 wells are planned to be drilled
from Néné MD. Installation of an interconnecting line to WHP4.
 Installation of WHPs to develop Néné Upper Djeno (WHP 5 and 6); 12 wells are planned to be
drilled from Néné UD WHP. Installation of interconnecting lines (and relevant Composite Cables) to
Scarabeo5 and WHP4 Riser Platform.
 Installation of WHP7 to develop Néné Lower Djeno/Banga; 4 wells are planned to be drilled.
Installation of interconnecting line to WHP5.
 Installation of WHP to develop Nkala; 4 wells are planned to be drilled from Nkala WHP. Installation
of an interconnecting line with WHP4 Riser Platform and a Composite Cable from Scarabeo 5.
 Modifications to existing WHP4 platform including :
o upgrade of IPS, installation of new Control Module, structural extension to allocate the new
pig trap and relevant topside connection and modifications to allow gas flowback from
Litchendjili platform using one of the 12” sealines;
o connection to WHP1 (new riser and pig trap);
o connection to Riser Plt (including piping upgrading and interconnection via bridge).
 Installation of 2 new WHPs to further develop Litchendjili; 5 wells are planned to be drilled from the
new LTJ WHP1, 4 wells to be drilled from the new LTJ WHP2.
 Modifications to existing Litchendjili platform including structural extension to allocate new pig traps,
new HIPPS and relevant topside connection.

 2 Sidetrack wells and 3 new wells to be drilled on the existing Litchendjili platform.
 Installation of new 12” sealine from WHP4 to to the LTJ platform
 Installation of new 12” sealine from LTJ platform to onshore LTJ plant.
 Construction of an Onshore Pre-Treatment plant (OPT) in order to bring the gas from Litchendjili
Onshore plant to a specification that allow further processing and liquefaction by “Nearshore
FLNG”.
 Installation of “Nearshore FLNG” which is an existing FLNG barge to be installed in split mooring
configuration with a FSU for LNG storage.
 Installation of Aegypode Riser Platform.
 Installation of a new 12” sealine from OPT onshore Plant to “Nearshore FLNG”.
2.0 SCOPE
This Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) covers the main activities associated with the inspection and testing
for control of production processes for Congo LNG Project Nenè WHP1.

3.0 DEFINIATION
COMPANY: Eni S.p.A. - E&P Division
Contractor: Shenzhen Chiwan Sembawang Engineering Co., Ltd (CSE)
Vendor: The organization appointed by COMPANY'S CONTRACTOR for the provision of Facility's
Equipment, Material or Components.

TPA: Third Party Agency

Hold Point (H): A mandatory inspection executed in fabrication process. The activities or inspection
shall not be performed without witnessed by specified parties. Notification to specified parties is
compulsory in agreed notification days. Unless specifically approved by specified parties in writing,
activities or inspection shall not be performed. Inspection notification shall submit at least 10 working
days notification prior to this inspection/ activities by Contractor (CSE) , End User (ENI) and/or TPA.

Witness Point (W): An inspection executed in fabrication process which will be witnessed or verified
by CSE, ENI and/or TPA. However, If CSE, ENI and/or TPA is not available, Work can be proceed.
The inspection notification maybe on a case by case basis, and normally, it shall not be less than 10
working days.
Surveillance Inspection (S): Witnessing by specified party is not mandatory, but optional. Normal
notice is not required to be given.Specified party maintains the right to witness the activity during
monitoring or quality control management visits.

Record Review (R): Document required to be submitted to specified party prior to the activity/
inspection or result of the activities/ inspection to be made available for specified party review.
