Guidelines in CDM Chess Game
1. Players should be a bonafide student of Colegio de Muntinlupa for 2nd Semester
Academic Year 2023- 2024.
2. Chess game must have 2 participants (1 male and 1 female)
3. The coach or the team captain should attend the meeting on February 20, 2024
and sign the discussed information about the game flow and procedures.
4. The team must submit a complete team gallery on or before March 2, 2024.
5. The team’s players must have the same color and design of t-shirts or jerseys.
6. If the player is not present 10-minutes after scheduled time, a default will be
given.
7. The competition will use a 7-Team (2 Bracket) Single Round Robin Tournament.

Guidelines in CDM Human Goal Game
1. Players should be a bonafide student of Colegio de Muntinlupa for 2nd Semester Academic Year
2023- 2024.
2. A team should have not more than twenty players including the team captain.
3. Each team should have a team captain. And both must be present during each game.
4. The team captain should attend the meeting on February 20, 2024 and sign the discussed
information about the game flow and procedures.
5. The team must submit a complete team gallery on or before March 2, 2024.
6. The team’s players must have the same color of t-shirts or jerseys.
7. The competition will use a 7-Team Single Elimination Tournament.
8. Forfeits and Starting Games:
a. Teams must be ready to play five minutes before their scheduled game time. Incomplete teams, 10
minutes after the allotted time, will be defaulted. Once team minimum is met, late arrivals can still
play once they check in.
b. Teams must have 11 players to start the game.
c. All players must sign with the scorekeeper/ table officials before play
10. All other important rules such as penalties and violations will be based on the rules of the game.
Guidelines in CDM Kickball Game
1. Players should be a bonafide student of Colegio de Muntinlupa for 2nd Semester Academic Year

Guidelines in CDM Indigenous Games
1. Players should be a bonafide student of Colegio de Muntinlupa for 2nd Semester
Academic Year 2022- 2023.
2. A team should have the number of players as per needed for each game.
3. Each team should have a team leader. And must be present during each
game.
4. The coach or the team captain should attend the meeting on February 20, 2024
and sign the discussed information about the game flow and procedures.
5. The team must submit a complete team gallery on or before March 2, 2024.
6. The team’s players must have the same color of t-shirts or jerseys.
7. Teams must be ready to play five minutes before their scheduled game time.

Guidelines in CDM Street Dance Competition

A. Guidelines
1. Performers should be a bonafide student of Colegio de Muntinlupa for 2nd Semester
Academic Year 2023- 2024.
2. All entries should have a minimum of twenty (20) and maximum of sixty (60) members.
3. All members of the entry should belong to one academic program/ team.
4. The team leader/ in campus choreographer should attend the meeting on February 20, 2024 and
sign the discussed information about the game flow and procedures.
5. Only In-Campus (student or faculty & staff) Choreographers are allowed.
6. All members of the street dance team should submit the following:
7. Deadline of Submission of Entries will be on or before March 2, 2024.
8. Each group shall submit Creative Name of the group and list of registered participants.
9. A panel of judges shall determine the winners based on the foregoing criteria. Any violation of the
foregoing rules may cause 3 points deduction per violation on the final score. The decision of the
panel shall be final and irrevocable.
10. Performance order will be determined by the management via drawing of lots.

B. Mechanics

1. Performance & Stage Rules

a. The street dance theme and concept must stick to the theme of CDM 7th Foundation Week
“Celebrating Dynamic Milestones: A 7-Year Journey of Transforming Traditions and Culture that Ignites
Innovation towards Inclusivity and Academic Excellence” relating to the course program they belong.
Boosting the significance of their course to this innovated generation.
b. The duration of the dance should be a minimum of 3 minutes, and a maximum of 5 minutes.
c. Any kind of Street Dance Production is allowed (hiphop, locking, popping, krump, house, stepping,
breakdance, wacking, tutting, vogueing, party dances, contemporary dance choreography) or any
kind of dance with hip hop as their focal thought of choreography, provided that the choreographers of
the group have the proper knowledge or background to execute it properly.
d. No vulgarity, obscenity, and explicit contents are allowed.

B. Mechanics

2. Costumes and Props

a. Costumes must be decent.


b. All costume malfunction resulting team members being exposed are grounds for deductions. Please
make sure to have dress rehearsals prior to competition to work out any costume problems
c. Props that are not considered as an integral part of a crew’s attire are prohibited (ex. canes, chairs,
tambourines, musical instruments).
d. Attire may include accessories such as hats, scarves, caps, gloves, jewelries, etc. Removing pieces of
clothing during the performance is permitted provided it is not offensive or out of character.
e. Body/face oils or paints/other substances applied to the body or clothing that may affect the clean
dry surface of the stage and the safeties of fellow competitors are prohibited.
f. Pyrotechnics and other similar dangerous or hazardous props are strictly prohibited. There is a limit of
only two (2) handheld “safe props” to be used by the performers.

3. Music Requirements

a. The music used in the routine must be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes.
b. Participants’ competition music must be submitted through google drive link provided by the
organizers with the group name on or before March 15, 2024.
c. There is no maximum or minimum number of songs/recordings that may be used in the routine, and
may be edited to enhance choreography and personal performance.
d. The competition music must not contain inappropriate, lewd, or offensive language.

4. Inevitable Circumstances
a. These are occurrences beyond the control of the group that affects their ability to perform at the
beginning or any time in a routine. An extraordinary circumstance is not limited to the following: (1)
Incorrect music is played or cued; (2) Music problems due to equipment malfunction; (3) Disturbances
caused by general equipment failure;
b. In case the routine is stopped by an extraordinary circumstance, the management and/or judges will
review the situation, and upon confirming a decision and correcting the problem, the group will be re-
introduced, and will be allowed to re-start their routine.

B. Mechanics

5. Medical Attention

a. It is the responsibility of the group members, manager, or choreographer to report a group


member’s injury or illness to the management.
b. If at any time, prior to or during competition, a group member becomes ill or injured, or his/her
physical or emotional condition is at risk by participating, he/she may be declared ineligible to
compete, and may be disqualified from the competition. The management reserves the right to
withdraw any competitor who appears to have such serious disability or injury or needs medical
attention.
c. The management reserves the right to request the submission of a physician’s written
authorization for a group member that is deemed medically or emotionally at risk by the event
organizers, to compete.

6. Criteria

a. Choreography (Creativity, Variety of Dance Styles & Difficulty) 40%

b. Performance (Musicality, Group Execution, Synchronization & Spacing) 40%

c. Overall Effect (Showmanship, Intensity, Projection, & Attire) 20%
