One source is through games. The games that Filipinos play are as old as the
ancestors. From the game’s Filipinos play, we can trace that we are fond of
competition because of the pressure games give. There are different contests that

Filipinos mode of interaction is through joining games which they enjoy much.

net games, and e – games. The first four are physical games. Each type uses

What is It
Chinese Garter
Chinese Garter is a popular game for Filipino children, most specifically
among girls during their elementary years. The game revolves around an
ordinary garter around 2 -3 yards long that can be brought easily. Chinese

garter is called “Chinese Jump Rope” in other countries. It is originally from China in

the 7th century.

They play it before and during the celebration of the Chinese New Year. It was

passed from generation to generation, country to country and has become popular
even up to now. Before the game starts you will need rubber bands, garter, or rope
