48 I. PRELIMINARIES

50 I.1 The Faculty Meeting started with a prayer led by Miss Lienila Mae P. Suria
51 I.2 Everyone was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Nariza A. Marasigan as meeting chair.
52 I.3 Mrs. Nariza A. Marasigan presented the agenda for the meeting and was moved to be

1 approved by Miss Catherine Regodon and was seconded by Miss Metchie Catan.

3 II. READING AND APPROVAL OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES
4  There was no reading and approval of the minutes since this was the first meeting of the
5 Faculty Meeting for the school year 2022–2023.

7 III. BUSINESS OF THE DAY

9 1. Curriculum
10  Mrs. Marasigan started the meeting and mentioned of the upcoming new school year
11 and the teachers were reminded to submit the curriculum materials.
12  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned that the teachers were given three (3) weeks to create and
13 finish the curruculum map, curriculum budget and LAS and she was expecting that the
14 teachers will be able to submit before the start of school year.
15  Mrs. Marasigan, informed the teachers that the curriculum materials should be
16 checked of the alignment before the implementation.
17  Mrs. Marasigan, said that some teachers were able to submit curriculum maps to the
18 academic coordinator and the teachers attended the INSET.
19  Mrs. Marasigan, informed the teachers the CMs presented during the INSET 2022
20 should be followed for the intensification of Acquisition, Make Meaning and Transfer.
21  Mrs. Marasigan asked the teachers about streamlining.
22 o Miss Samuray, said the the competencies should be checked in MELCS and
23 reduce some competencies.
24 o Mrs. Marasigan, said that all competencies should be written down and be
25 compared.
26 o Mrs. Marasigan, said that in streamlining, same competencies in same week
27 should be merged especially in Filipino, English and Math, because these subjects
28 have lots of competencies.
29 o Mrs. Marasigan asked about the unpacking.
30 o Miss Catan, said that during the webinar they were instructed to unpack the
31 competencies.
32 o Mrs. Hernandez, said that in unpacking, the most learning competencies should
33 be identified first and unpacking will follow.
34 o Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned that in unpacking, when the competency is for Make
35 Meaning, it should be unpacked to a competency for Acquisition.
36 o Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned that Acquisition, Make Meaning and Transfer should
37 be in Curriculum Map.
38  Mrs. Marasigan, reminded the teachers about the submission of the partial
39 requirements for PEAC.
40  Sister Grace, said that in unpacking teachers need to go back to the Bloom’s
41 Taxonomy.
42  Mrs. Marasigan, said about the submission of LAS and assessment tool.
43 o Mrs. Marasigan, emphasized that using assessment tool is important in order to
44 identify the learning of the students.
45  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned about the submission of Curriculum Materials of the first
46 quarte as requirement for PEAC.

1  Mrs. Marasigan, said that the teachers and coordinators should follow the deadlines on
2 the submission of the requirements.
3  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned about the proper construction of test questionnaire to
4 avoid confusion in answering and checking of test questionnaires.
5 o Mrs. Marasigan, said that teachers should re-check the test questions.
6 o Mrs. Marasigan, said that the teachers who are handling the same subjects should
7 collaborate in making test questions.
8 o Sister Grace, added that this kind of collaboration among teachers who are
9 handling the same subject should be included to PLC.
10  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned about the proper construction of test questionnaire.
11 2. Enrollment
12  Mrs. Marasigan, asked for an update of the enrollment.
13 o Mrs. Nariza, asked the number of students in each sections.
14 o Sister Grace, emphasized that each section should have equal number of
15 students.
16 o Sister Grace, said that adding new section is not possible for grade 11 because of
17 lack of students.
18 3. Grading System
19  Mrs. Marasigan, said that form 137 will be printed.
20 o Sister Grace, responded that new computers will be added in the printing area and
21 teachers should follow the schedule of submission of grades.
22  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned that the rounding off of grades in computer system is fixed
23 by Sister Letty.
24 o Sister Grace, responded that students who cannot submit the projects on the
25 expected date should receive different grade.
26 o Sister Grace, emphasize that teachers should not wait late projects of students but
27 still accept.

29 4. Supervisory and Substitution Schedules
30  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned that the teachers who will be absent should submit activity
31 to the coordinator and the coordinator will make substitution.
32 o Sister Grace, asked about the teacher who could not submit their activity.
33 o Ma’am Marasigan, responded that the coordinator will be the one to make activity.
34 o Sister Grace, added that having movie viewing about the Life of the Saints will be
35 better during substitution if the subject teacher fails to submit the activity for the
36 students.
37 5. Intensification of Classroom Management
38  Mrs. Marasigan, reminded the advisers to intensify classroom management classroom
39 activities to avoid shouting and howling.
40 o Sister Grace, added the usage of new strategies in classroom to minimize
41 shouting, howling and laughing inside the classroom.
42 6. Faculty
43  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned that teachers should list down the webinars attended by
44 the teachers and it will be send to PEAC.
45  Mrs. Hernandez, asked if a student can donate electric fan.
46 o Sister Grace, agreed on accepting donations from students.

1  Mrs. Nariza, mentioned about placing water dispenser along the hallway.
2 o Sister Grace, agreed on this and already requested to Mr. Arnel Ramano.

4 IV. OTHER MATTERS
5  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned about the submission of minutes of meeting especially the
6 parents orientation.
7  Mrs. Marasigan, emphasized on the lacking credentials of students especially for
8 Grade 10 and 12 students.
9  Mrs. Nariza, mentioned the early dissemination of lacking requirements of students.
10 o Miss Regato, responded that the parents should be informed of the lacking
11 requirements of students especially the form 137 to get a request from the school.
12  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned the attendance of the students during the first week of
13 classes
14  Mrs. Marasigan, clarify about the 14 lapel requested by the teachers.
15  Sister Grace, said that it will be asked to Sister Cristina.
16  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned about the changes or switching of classrooms for Grade 9,
17 10 and 11.
18  Mrs. Marasigan, asked about the the students who were visited by Ma’am Teresa for
19 the orientation of Psychosocial.
20 o Miss Rivera, responded that only orientation was conducted about Psychosocial
21 but not discussion.
22  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned about the bringing of snacks and lunch of students.
23  Mrs. Marasigan, mentioned about the schedules for Senior High School students who
24 are only until 4:00 in the afternoon.
25 o Sister Grace, responded that schedules should be given to the guard.
26  Mr. Java, discussed about the discipline inside the classroom.
27  Mr. Java, said that no students should be allowed to sleep during class hours.
28  Mrs. Doñes, asked about the time for the students that will be considered as late.
29 o Mr. Java, responded that when the prayer has started, the students will be
30 considered as late or tardy based on the student’s handbook.

34 V. ADJOURNMENT
35 The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 in the afternoon. The closing prayer was led by Miss Metchie
36 Catan.
