SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY RESOLUTION 013-2024

A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING SHANXI HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING

CONSTRUCTION BUREAU CO., LTD TO DONATE 10 SETS OF TRASHBIN FOR THE USE OF
THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM OF BARANGAY BIGTE, NORZAGARAY,
BULACAN.
WHEREAS, the Barangay Bigte is geared towards excellent delivery of social service to our
constituents;
WHEREAS, In connection with environmental issues and problem appearing worldwide and
nationwide, Barangay Bigte supports the campaigns and actions made by local government and private
organizations in resolving these problems. However, due to financial incapacity of our barangay ,
environmental programs seems such a problem. With this, our barangay would like to render an assistance from
your good office.

WHEREAS, Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps a
company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. By practicing corporate social
responsibility, also called corporate citizenship, companies can be conscious of the kind of impact they are
having on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and environmental.
WHEREAS, To engage in CSR means that, in the ordinary course of business, a company is operating
in ways that enhance society and the environment instead of contributing negatively to them.
WHEREAS, Barangay Bigte is known for being one of the cleanest barangay in this municipality. This
is a result of an effective garbage collection system;

WHEREAS, however, at present, our trashbins are not enough to maintain cleanliness in our barangay;

WHEREAS, there is a need to augment the trashbins in this barangay considering the influx of tourists
and the increase in the number of business establishments and residential areas in Barangay Bigte, Norzagaray,
Bulacan ;

WHEREAS, this August Body, in line with its duty to look after the general welfare of the public,
deems it proper and timely to request Shanxi Hydraulic Engineering Construction Bureau Co., LTD to donate
10 sets of trashbins in order to effectively manage the garbage in this barangay;

RESOLVED, FURTHER, to furnish a copy of this resolution to the

SHANXI HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION BUREAU CO., LTD for information and
utmost consideration.
On motion of Hon. Joshua R. Avendaño, duly seconded by SK Chairman Juan Miguel S. Faustino , the
foregoing Resolution was unanimously approved.
