SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY RESOLUTION No. 002 Series of 2024

A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE HON. SENATOR EMMANUEL JOEL JOSE

VILLANUEVA TO DONATE ONE (1) UNIT OF GARBAGE TRUCK FOR THE USE OF THE
BARANGAY.
WHEREAS, the Barangay Bigte is geared towards excellent delivery of social service to our
constituents;

WHEREAS, to help abate the negative effect of global warming, this

barangay implements its Solid Waste Management Program but one problem we are facing is the lack of
garbage truck to collect the garbage of the barangay;

WHEREAS, there are three existing dumptruck that collects garbage but because of its deteriorating
condition, its operation stops that caused dumping of garbage and it already consumes
expensive maintenance which is very impractical to this barangay ;

WHEREAS, Barangay Bigte has a very limited source of income, thus the purchase of garbage truck is
not possible at this time;

WHEREAS, One (1) Unit garbage truck will serve as a supplementary to our old and/or
long-standing garbage trucks.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Barangay assembled in session, to request

the Hon. Senator Emmanuel Joel Villanueva to donate One (1) Unit of garbage trucks for the use of the
barangay;

RESOLVED, FURTHER, to furnish a copy of this resolution to the

Hon. Senator Emmanuel Joel Villanueva for his information and utmost consideration.
On motion of Kagawad Joshua R. Avendaño, duly seconded, the foregoing Resolution was unanimously
approved.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED. I hereby certify to the correctness of the foregoing resolution.
