Peace Education 30 mins 1. Introduction:


Learning Session o Briefly discuss the importance of peace and
respect in our daily lives.
o Introduce the concept of "respect" and ask
students to share their understanding of it.

paper.
2. Exploring Intercultural Understanding (10
minutes):
o Introduce the concept of "intercultural
understanding." Explain that it involves
appreciating and respecting the diverse
cultures, values, and traditions around the
world.
o Briefly discuss the story "Bayanihan sa Aming
Tahanan." Explain that it showcases the
Filipino value of "bayanihan" (community
cooperation).
o Read the story aloud to the class. Encourage
active listening and participation.
3. Discussion and Activities:
o Ask students questions based on the story,
such as:
 What is "bayanihan" and how is it
shown in the story?
 How can we demonstrate respect
towards different cultures in our daily
lives?
