At the end of the lesson the students is expected to:
 Identify selected Asian musical theater through video films (Japanese Theater)
 Analyzed each Asian musical theater (Japanese theater)
 Distinguish musical characteristics of selected Asian musical theater (Japanese Theater)

B. ACTIVITY
 The teacher will show an example video of Japanese theater.
 The teacher will ask about the video.

1. How do the actors and actress perform on stage ?

C. ANALYSIS
 The teacher will ask the students to read the slides ( Reading Integration).
 Along with the discussion the teacher will ask ideas.

D. APPLICATION
 The student will be divided into three groups , each group will watch a clip of kabuki
performances then discuss their observation regarding to the characteristics of the musical
theater . After the discussion within your small group , leaders from different small group will
share the information with the whole class.

E. ABSTRACTION/GENERALIZATION
 What is Theater?
 What is the theater music of Japan?
 What is the Vocal technique of vocal music of Japan?
