Taken as a whole, a brief assessment of the information reveals that there are three main
stages for manufacturing sugar, commencing with initial harvesting, followed by a chemical
transformation, and culminating with a product of sugar.

A more detailed look at the chart illustrates that the first stage is when sugar cane has grown
over 12-18 months. After this stage is complete, the mature plant is harvested either by hand
or farming machinery. From here, sugar canes are crushed in a grinder which produces
juice.

Shifting focus on the remaining data, the juice runs through a limestone filler in order to
purify juice which then is poured into the evaporator so that syrup can be produced by heat.
After this occurs, syrup is separated from sugar crystals by using a centrifuge prior to being
dried and cooled and becomes sugar.
