POLITICAL PARTICIPATION OF PERSON WITH DISABILITY IN BARANGAY

IBABANG DUPAY, LUCENA CITY

Objectives of the Study

This study aims to determine the political participation of person with disability

addressing the difficulties encountered by PWD.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following objectives:

1. Determine the demographic profile of the respondents described in terms of:

1.1 age;

1.2 sex;

1.3 civil status;

1.4 Types of Disability;

2. Evaluate the awareness of Person with Disability on their rights in political

dimension.

3. Know if there is a significant difference on their respondent awareness on the right

political dimension and their assessment on the barriers when group by their

demographic profile.

4. Identify electoral practices that COMELEC provides for Person with Disability.

5. Identify the issues and problems that Person with Disability encountered in

Political Participation in terms of:

5.1 Communication barrier

5.2 Access polling station

6. Propose an action plan based on the findings of the study.
