thuận về gia hạn xuất khẩu gạo cấp Chính phủ sang thị trường
Philippines thêm 2 năm, tới hết 31/12/2028.

2. Hiện chỉ có 3 nước là Campuchia, Thái Lan và Việt Nam được quyền
xuất khẩu gạo sang Philippines, do nước này chủ yếu nhập qua hình thức
đấu thầu Chính phủ (G-G).

3. Vì thế Bộ Công Thương đánh giá, trong bối cảnh gạo Việt đang chịu sức
ép về giá, chất lượng từ các đối thủ truyền thống (Thái Lan, Ấn Độ) và cả
các đối thủ mới nổi (Pakistan, Campuchia và Myanmar) thì việc gia hạn
xuất khẩu gạo sang Philippines sẽ giúp Việt Nam củng cố vị thế trên bản
đồ thương mại gạo thế giới.

4. Theo bản thoả thuận này 2 đầu mối xuất khẩu gạo Việt sang thị trường
Philippines vẫn là Tổng Công ty lương thực miền Bắc và Tổng Công ty lương
thực miền Nam. Đợt đấu thầu xuất khẩu gạo đầu tiên sẽ diễn ra ngay trong
tháng 1/2027.

5. Trong giai đoạn 2021-2025 Philippines luôn là thị trường xuất khẩu gạo
quan trọng của Việt Nam, với số lượng 500.000-1.500.000 tấn, tùy theo tình
hình sản xuất và tạm trữ của thị trường này; tương đương 17-20% tổng kim
ngạch xuất khẩu gạo của Việt Nam.
