To furnish supervision and manpower with equipment, tools, consumables and land transportation to
carry out works on board vessel at anchorage within port limits.
Note : (1) Job with hot work on board or alongside vessel at anchorage within port limits subject to
permission from M.P.A.; minimum 3-working day advance submission of application to
M.P.A. through MARINET by agents is required.
K-MARINE shall provide the necessary assistance for the preparation of required documents,
e.g. Job Specification, Step-by-step Methodology, Risk Assessment, etc. accordingly.
(2) Steering gear compartment and surrounding areas to be cleaned and made safe for hot work
by vessel’s staff.
(3) Hot work would be prohibited during bunkering operation, and thereby please allow for the
minimum time span of about 6 hours for the hot work out of the bunkering period.
(A) ENGINE ROOM STEEL OUT-FITTING WORKS AT AFLOAT
(I) STEERING GEAR & RUDDER SYSTEM
STEERING GEAR SYSTEM MAKE/MODEL : MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES, LTD/SFC-80
(1) RUDDER CARRIER STOPPER COMPLETE WITH COTTER & SET PIECE REORIENTATION X 4 SETS
(1.1) Rudder carrier stopper to be reorientated, relocated slightly outward (to accommodate cotter)
and welding onto new position in accordance to maker’s drawing, and also with the cotter
inserted correctly and set pieces fully welded atop in between the stopper and cotter in order.
(1.2) The existing stopper and set piece to be removed from present set up by electric arc gouging
or grinding off in way of respective weldments for the purpose.
(B) GENERAL SERVICES
(1) M.P.A. HOT WORK PERMIT APPLICATION WIT ASSISTANCE TO VESSEL’S AGENTS.
(2) SAFETY ASSESSOR ATENDANCE FOR SITE INSPECTION & HOT WORK PERMIT ISSUANCE.
(3) LAND TRANSPORTATION FOR MANPOWER MOBILIZATION & DEMOBILIZATION VESSEL.
