APA dẫn nguồn tác giả

Nếu tài liệu khoa học chỉ có 1 tác giả:

 Dùng ngoặc đơn.
 Ghi tên tác giả và năm xuất bản.
Ví dụ: Tiến, T. H. (2021) hay Smith, J. (2020).

Nếu tài liệu khoa học có 2 tác giả:

 Dùng ngoặc đơn.
 Ghi cả 2 tên tác giả với ký tự “&”.
Ví dụ: Liên, N. N. & Tuấn, N. M. (2019) hay Smith, J. & Brown, S. (2020).

Nếu tài liệu khoa học có từ 3 tác giả trở lên:

 Dùng ngoặc đơn.
 Liệt kê tất cả tên (nếu chỉ 3-5 tác giả), phân biệt bởi dấu phẩy
 Chỉ ghi tên tác giả đầu tiên kèm theo cụm từ “và nnk.”.
Ví dụ: Liên, N. N., Mai, P. H., Bao, H. V. (2023) hay Thông V. K. và nnk. (2022).

Nếu trích dẫn từ nhiều hơn một nguồn:

 Dùng dấu chấm phẩy (;) để phân tách các nguồn.
 Các nguồn được sắp xếp theo thứ tự thời gian.
Ví dụ: Smith, J., (1959); Thomson, M. & Jones P., (1982); Green, G., (1990)

Nếu tài liệu tham khảo từ một cơ quan, tổ chức (không có tác giả cá nhân):
 Dùng tên đầy đủ hay viết tắt của cơ quan, tổ chức làm tên tác giả.
Ví dụ: (Bộ Công thương, 2010) hay WHO (2015).

Nếu trích dẫn trực tiếp nguyên văn:

 Ghi thêm số trang vào sau năm xuất bản.
Ví dụ: (Obama, 2014, tr.97-98).
