In this activity, we will analyze a picture related to the nervous system. By examining the image,
we can gain a better understanding of the structures and functions of the nervous system.

Picture Analysis:
Upon analyzing the picture of the nervous system, we can observe the following components
and structures:
1. ___________is the central control center of the nervous system. It is responsible for
processing
information, coordinating body functions, and controlling voluntary and
involuntary actions.
2. ___________ is a long, thin bundle of nerves that extends from the base of the brain down
the
back. It serves as a pathway for transmitting signals between the brain and the
rest of the body.
3. __________ are the communication channels of the nervous system. They carry electrical
signals, known as nerve impulses, between the brain, spinal cord, and various
parts of the body.
4. __________ connects the brain to the spinal cord and controls essential functions such as
breathing, heart rate, and digestion.
By analyzing the picture and understanding the functions of each component, we can
appreciate the complexity and importance of the nervous system in coordinating and controlling
our bodily functions.
Remember to discuss your findings with your classmates or teacher to deepen your
understanding of the nervous system.
