Class trip!
Students enjoyed a great trip
bowling and mini golfing
practicing the skills and terms
they have been learning in
science class!

Dental Talk
Students enjoyed having a
visitor from the dental office
come give them a
presentation on good dental
hygiene. They will also
receive a goody bag on
Sunday, with a brand new
tooth brush!

Unit 1: Nursery Rhymes and Fables

English Language Arts

Review of letters and letter sounds.
Review of syllables and rhyming.
The difference between letters and words;
words have spaces between them. Counting
how many letters in a word.
How many words in a sentence?
Retelling the beginning and ending of a story.
Learning various nursery rhymes and fables
Identify rhyming words in nursery rhymes
Learning what the moral of a fable is
Raz-kids reading!

Social Studies

I can be a good student

I can name leaders in school and Dubai
I can tell you why we have leaders.
Students are able to recognize Sheik
Mohammed and Sheik Khalifa.

Math
KG2 started Chapter 2 this week. In this chapter,
students will learn how to build and compare
sets to help them compare numbers.
Vocabulary words: same number, greater than,
less than

Science
Students learn about Force and describe Push
and Pull.
Use objects to demonstrate push and pull.
