Bob Marley is said to have claimed that the Bunny Lee claims to have been there from the
word reggae came from a Spanish beginning and he and his team came up with
the word reggae in 1968,and that reggae came

Ska
A genre of Jamaican music which comes from mento and
calypso music, combined with American jazz and R&B , which
could be heard on Jamaican radio
The music is upbeat, quick and exciting.
ska bands featured bass, drums, guitars, keyboards and horns
(with saxophone, trombone and trumpet being most
common).
Clement "Coxsone" Dodd is one of the most important figures
in ska history. He was not a musician.
