The Summer season is the time of year when the
days last the longest and the weather is warmest.
A sunburn is the skin’s response to
extreme ultraviolet (UV) exposure and
indicates severe damage.

can feel the intense heat of the sun.
What will you do so that you can still enjoy your
beach party. Yet be protected from the sun’s light and
heat? Draw what will you do in the manila paper.
Mang Karding has transplanted his new papaya
seedlings to a bigger area early in the morning so that he
will not stay too long under the sun. He watered them after
planting and went back home to rest. Later at mid day, the
sun’s heat was intense and that Mang Karding’s plant
started to wilt (malanta).
What advice could you gave Mang Karding to protect
his papaya plants from wilting? Write in the Manila paper.
