INTRODUCTION OF THE

• Treebo derives its name from "Bo Tree", the big tree under which Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment. The
big tree family - banyan, peepal among others - has inspired not their name but also what they do.

• It was founded in June 2015 by Sidharth Gupta, Rahul Chaudhary, And Kadam Jeet Jain with the aim of providing
high-quality hospitality in the otherwise unorganized and fragmented budget segment of the Indian hospitality
industry. 

• Treebo chain of hotels is one of India’s largest group of hotels in the hospitality industry, having their presence
in 80 plus cities and counting. Being one of the fastest growing chains in the sector, Treebo wanted a system
that could not just help them store data but also keep a track of all their business.

• Treebo Hotels aims to be a budget hotel brand as opposed to competing aggregators and networks like OYO
Rooms. Treebo Hotels is headquartered in Bengaluru, India.
