I’m going to address the use of the animated skill of Rotoscoping in music videos and how it’s changed over time. I also want to address it’s relevancy now and how it’s still going strong in today’s decade. I also want to hear people’s opinions on where this skill could go in the next few years, Will it still be used, or will it be ditched for something better? Will there be a better technique? I have grown a keen interest in Animation and I would like to take this interest and turn it into a profession. I would like to present this documentary in the style of still images and videos with running commentary in the background. I appreciate that some of the material may seem dated so I would like to make my documentary engaging by adding references that are relevant to my target audience. My target audience are people 16 – 20 years old. Who are currently studying at college before starting at University. For my Introduction, I’m going to talk briefly to talk about the skill of rotoscoping and how it’s left it’s mark throughout the beginning to the now. I’ll be talking about popularity of rotoscoping through the manner of music videos.
