NEAR FUTURE TENSE
 Diễn tả một hành động sắp xảy ra, trong tương lai gần, dựa vào một căn cứ/
bằng chứng mà người nói nhìn thấy ở hiện tại/ thời điểm nói.
 Form: S + be (is/ am/ are) + going to + V-inf
 Dấu hiệu: có các từ chỉ thời gian trong tương lai gần đi kèm, nhất là từ
tonight (tối nay), tomorrow (ngày mai), later (sau). Hoặc có thêm bằng
chứng/ căn cứ/ dấu hiệu về một hiện tượng, sự việc.
 Dùng khi đưa ra một dự đoán có căn cứ về một việc sắp xảy ra trong tương
lai rất gần hoặc dùng để nói về một việc sắp sửa làm.
NEAR FUTURE TENSE
Example:
 I feel exhausted, I am going to be ill. (Tôi cảm thấy mệt lả người, chắc là bị
ốm rồi)
→ Dự đoán có căn cứ “I feel exhausted”
 Look! It’s gray. It’s going to rain. (Nhìn kìa! Trời xám xịt. Trời sẽ mưa thôi)
→ Dự đoán có căn cứ “ It’s gray”
 I am going to travel in Hue tomorrow. (Tôi định sẽ đi du lịch ở Huế vào ngày
mai)
→ Một dự định/ viết sắp làm (chắc chắn sẽ xảy ra)
