A. LÝ THUYẾT THÌ TƯƠNG LAI GẦN

I. WILL

(+) S + Will + Vinf + O…

(-) S + Won’t + Vinf + O…

(?) Will + S + Vinf + O…?

I/We có thể đi với shall thay thế will

Ex: I will come here again.

(Tôi sẽ đến đây một lần nữa)

Cách dùng:

-Will dùng để diễn tả hành động, sự việc có thể xảy ra trong tương lai

Ex: An will complete this new project next week.

(An sẽ hoàn thành sự án mới này vào tuần tới)

➔ Hành động ‘hoàn thành dự án mới’ có thể xảy ra vào thời điểm trong tương
lai ‘tuần tới’. Vì vậy, ta dùng will để diễn tả.

– Immediately action: một hành động quyết định ngay trong lúc nói thì sử dụng
will

Ex: Her father is calling her and she will come right now.

(Bố cô ấy đang gọi điện và cô ấy sẽ đến ngay bây giờ)

➔ Khi cô ấy ‘đang nghe điện thoại’ thì hành động ‘sẽ đến’ cũng được quyết
định ngay lúc đó thì ta dùng will.

II. BE GOING TO

(+) S + Tobe going to + Vinf + O…

(-) S + Tobe not + going to + Vinf + O…

(?) Tobe + S + going to + Vinf + O…?

Ex: Duy is going to go to work.

(Duy sẽ đi làm)

Cách dùng:

– Be going to dùng để chỉ hành động, sự việc chắc chắn diễn ra trong tương lai
gần

Ex: I am going to visit her tonight.

(Tôi sẽ đến thăm cô ấy tối nay)

➔ Việc ‘sẽ đến thăm’ chắc chắn xảy ra trong thời gian ở tương lai ‘tối nay’ nên
be going to được dùng để nói về hành động này.

– Nếu có kế hoạch hay ý định đã được định sẵn và chắc chắn xảy ra trong tương
lai thì sử dụng be going to

Ex: Huy is going to clean his house at 7 p.m tomorrow.

(Huy sẽ dọn dẹp nhà cửa vào lúc 7 giờ tối mai)
