FUTURE SIMPLE (TƯƠNG LAI ĐƠN)

WILL + V (nguyên mẫu)

Dùng để diễn tả 1 hành động xảy ra trong tương lai, được dùng ngay tại thời điểm nói, k
có kế hoạch từ trước, dùng diễn đạt ý kiến, đưa ra một lời hứa hoặc một quyết định tức
thì.
E.x: I will go to the cinema next week ( tôi sẽ đến rạp chiếu phim vào tuần tới)
I will do swimming next Monday (tôi sẽ đi bơi vào thứ 2 tới)
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: + someday: một ngày nào đó + tomorrow: ngày mai
+ next week/ month/...: tuần/ tháng/... tới + soon: chẳng bao lâu nữa
Cấu trúc:
(+) S + will + V (nguyên mẫu) +O
E.x: I will go to the zoo tomorrow.
(-) S + will not (won’t) + V (nguyên mẫu) + O
E.x: I will not ( won’t) go to the zoo.
(?) Will + S + V ( nguyên mẫu) + O?
 Yes, S+ will
 No, S + will not (Won’t).
E.x: Will you go with me?
=> Yes, I will
=> No. I won’t.

NEAR FUTURE (TƯƠNG LAI GẦN)

BE GOING TO + V (nguyên mẫu)
Dùng để diễn tả một hành động xảy ra trong tương lai nhưng có kế hoạch, có thể xảy ra
hoặc không (=>99%)
E.x: I am going to go abroad next week.
He is going to the theather next day.
Look at the black clouds! It’s going to rain.

(+) S + be going to + V (nguyên mẫu) +O (Be: am, is, are)
E.x: I am going to the zoo tomorrow.
(-) S + be not going to + V (nguyên mẫu) + O

Bên cạnh việc diễn tả hành động ngay tại thời điểm nói, ngta còn dùng thì hiện tại tiếp
diễn để chỉ một hành động trong tương lai chắc chắn xảy ra, thường về các cuộc họp, các
chuyến bay, chuyến xe,….
E.x: I am visiting my grandmother next month.
She is having a flight to HN at 3 a.m
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: tương tự thì tương lai.
Cấu trúc:
(+) S + be + V-ing+O (Be: am, is, are)
E.x: I am going to the zoo tomorrow.
(-) S + be not going to + V (nguyên mẫu) + O
E.x: I am not going to the zoo.
(?) Be + S +going to + V ( nguyên mẫu) + O?

+ Lưu ý: đối với các chuyến bay, chuyến xe, cuộc họp,vv được sắp lịch thì ta dùng
thì hiện tại đơn dù có dấu hiệu của thì tương lai.
E.x: 1. The flight departs at 3 a.m tomorrow. (vai trò là chủ từ)
Khác với I ‘m having the flight at 3 a.m (vai trò là tân ngữ).
2. The meeting between 2 countries takes place at HN.

 Note:
1. Không dùng các thì tiếp diễn (Continuous Tenses) với các động từ chỉ nhận thức,
tri giác (see, be, hear...).
2. Không dùng các thì tương lai (Future Tenses) trong các mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ
thời gian; thì Simple Future được thay bằng Simple Present, thì Future Perfect (hoặc
Future Perfect Continuous) được thay bằng thì Present Perfect (hoặc Present Perfect
Continuous).
