Agenda item: Community Garden Questionnaires Presenter: NA
Discussion:
Recruit more participants for the garden is an immediate priority.
The questionnaires are a useful tool to approach people, get to know their expectations and communicate our
views.
Other forms of publicity for the garden are being explored as well. (NA festival, Open Days, Teignbridge Newsletter)

For the next 4 weeks every Thursday there will be a group of us responsible for performing the

Not a priority at the moment, because of school holidays.

Discussion: Screening scheduled for 29 July (Wednesday) at 7:45, The Jolly Abbot
1. DVD : Publicity - Mark did a poster. Maria will make some small size leaflets to go with it. Poster will be put at
N.A. library. Teignmouth Library, Market, Ogwell and few other places.
Operational issues - have been previously addressed: Jane will bring projector, Jackie will bring white screen and
laptop.

2. Visit will be arranged for 11th September (Friday) 18-20h.

It looks really nice. We should all publicize it and contribute to it.

We need to know from Jackie if the money would be available for training a person (200£).
The group agrees that this would be a good use of money. We must remember we also have committed to spend
some money in buying tree seeds from Martin Crawford for our forest garden.

Discussion:
Betina shared with us some of their plans and activities for the next months:
- Butterflies and Birds surveys;
- Application for funding from Co-Op (for materials and tools) to build a pond already sent. Other possible
institutions in view if Co-op turns down the proposal.
- Visit to a Wild-Life garden in Exmouth in October.
