TOEIC - NGỮ PHÁP TIẾNG ANH TÓM LƯỢC – BÀI 2

Trong tiết học này, chúng ta sẽ học về 4 thì cơ bản trong tiếng Anh:

+ Thì hiện tại đơn

+ Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn
+ Thì hiện tại hoàn thành
+ Thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn.

Luyện tập một số bài tập về các thì này.

II. Present continuous tense(thì hiện tại tiếp diễn):

a. Usage(cách dùng):
1. Hành động đang diễn ra ở hiện tại ngay lúc ta đề cập.
Ex: They are talking about the excursion on Sunday at the moment.
2. Hành động đang xảy ra ở hiện tại nhưng không nhất thiết ngay lúc chúng ta đề cập đến/Hành
động đang xảy ra ở hiện tại có tính chất tạm thời.
Ex: Peter is working as a waiter in a restaurant this summer.
3. Hành động, sự việc xảy ra thường xuyên ở hiện tại. thể hiện sự bực mình, ý phàn nàn của người
nói.(+ ALWAYS)
Ex: I can’t stand you, John. You are coming to class late.
4. Sự sắp xếp hay kế hoạch trong tương lai của 1 cá nhân thường kèm theo adv of future time.
Ex: What are you doing on Christmas Day?

b. Formula(công thức):
Forms Formula Using for remain The singular third
(các thể) (công thức) (các ngôi khác) (ngôi thứ 3 số ít)
Affirmative S + am/is/are + V-ing + O You are walking. He is walking.
(câu xác định)
Negative am You are not (aren’t) walking. He is not (isn’t) walking.
(câu phủ định) S + is + not + V-ing + O
are
Interrogative Am Are you walking? Is he walking?
(câu nghi vấn) Is + S + V-ing + O?
Are
Negative interrogative Am Aren’t you walking? Isn’t he walking?
(câu phủ định nghi vấn) Is + not + S + V-ing + O?
Are
c. Adverbs(các trạng từ cần nhớ):
now : bây giờ at present : hiện nay Be quiet! : mỗi ngày
right now : ngay bây giờ at once : ngay lúc này Be careful! : mỗi ngày
at the moment : ngay tức thì Look! : nhìn kìa Don’t make noise : 1 lần 1 tuần

* Notes(chú ý):
1. Không dùng thì tiếp diễn đối với các động từ chỉ tình cảm,tri giác, nhận thức, sở hữu như:
realise : nhận ra feel : cảm thấy taste : nếm seem : dường như remember : nhớ
see : thấy think : nghĩ love : yêu mean : có nghĩa understand : hiểu
hear : nghe smell : ngửi hate : ghét to be : thì, là, ở depend : phụ thuộc
know : biết want : muốn need : cần die : chết forget : quên

2. Động từ V-ing có các trường hợp sau:

a. Động từ tận cùng là E ta bỏ E trước khi thêm (ing). Ex: hope → hoping
b. Động từ tận cùng là một phụ âm trước nó là một nguyên âm ta gấp đôi phụ âm trước khi thêm
(ing). Ex: stop →stopping
c. Động từ tận cùng là IE đổi thành Y trước khi thêm ing Ex: die →dying
d. Động từ có 2 âm tiết cần lưu ý:
Ex: listen→listening (nhấn vần đầu không gấp đôi)
Ex: begin→be´ginning (nhấn vần thứ hai thì gấp đôi)
e. Động từ tận cùng là Z,Y,W & X chúng ta không gấp đôi. Ex: plow → plowing
