1.2. Cách sử dụng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn

 Diễn tả một hành động đang diễn ra tại thời điểm nói.

VD: I am watching TV now. (Tôi đang xem tivi bây giờ)

 Diễn tả một hành động nói chung đang diễn ra và chưa kết thúc, nhưng không nhất thiết
phải thực sự diễn ra ngay lúc nói.

VD: Anna is finding a job. (Anna đang tìm kiếm một công việc)

 Diễn tả một hành động chắc chắn sẽ xảy ra trong tương lai gần.

VD: He is going to Ha Noi tomorrow. (Anh ấy sẽ tới Hà Nội vào ngày mai)

 Diễn tả một hành động thường xuyên lặp đi lặp lại, thường được sử dụng với mục đích
phàn nàn về hành động khiến người nói khó chịu và bực mình.
