I. Objectives:
At the end of the session, the students will be able to:
a. discuss what is rhythmic gymnastics;
b. appreciate the importance of rhythmic gymnastics by, demonstrating
each apparatus in rhythmic gymnastics in the whole class; and
c. create a routine in rhythmic gymnastics using the given apparatus.

II. Subject Matter


A. Topic: Rhythmic Gymnastics
B. References: Grade 7 Physical Education and Health Book
C. Materials: Laptop, speaker, costume, and gymnastics apparatus.

2. Development of Lesson

A. Activity: “Show and Tell”


 Divide the class into two (2)
 Create a dance steps using the apparatus given by the teacher and the
student will show to the class what they create from the apparatus
given.
 The class will tell what the student show to the class.

 What made you finish the activity?
 How can you maintain and improve your performance?

D. Application:

1. The students will create a routine in rhythmic gymnastics using the


available apparatus of the school.
2. The teacher will give time to the students to create a routine in
rhythmic gymnastics from 5 to 10 minutes and after that the students
will show to the class by group.

Beauty 25%
Total 100%

1 - What is aesthetic means in rhythmic gymnastics?
2-5 – What are the four elements of rhythmic gymnastics?
6-10 – What are the five apparatus that use in rhythmic gymnastics?

IV. Assignment: Search


1. Men’s Artistic Gymnastics with pictures.
2. Women’s Artistic Gymnastics with pictures.
3. Rhythmic Gymnastics with pictures.
