Please know spelling and definitions of the words below: Reading/Writing: We will finish reading our core lit. book, “Esperanza Rising.” Students will novel: a narrative, usually fictional then practice building their ability to read challenging text closely as relating it with all character: a person in the story we’ve learned about Human Rights, and now apply it to a narrative essay. dialogue: a conversation between two or more characters Math: Multiplying and dividing decimals. narrator: a person who tells the story We are beginning module 2. *Please encourage your child to persevere plot: a sequence of events that make up the story when they come upon a problem that is difficult at first. As always, we are continuing to work on introduction: the first paragraph; introduces the story writing about math and thoroughly explaining our steps when solving.
