This Week’s Objectives
Reading/Writing: We will finish reading our
core lit. book, “Esperanza Rising.” Students will
then practice building their ability to read
challenging text closely as relating it with all
we’ve learned about Human Rights, and now
apply it to a narrative essay.
Math: Multiplying and dividing decimals.
We are beginning module 2.
*Please encourage your child to persevere
when they come upon a problem that is difficult
at first. As always, we are continuing to work on
writing about math and thoroughly explaining
our steps when solving.
Science: Astronomy
Social Studies: Early Explorers of America
Health: Being Assertive-- Being assertive
means asking for what you want or need in a
calm, firm, respectful voice.
