1. Minutes of the 19th Regular Session of the Sanguniang Barangay of

2. Poblacion 3 Villanueva Misamis Oriental held at Barangay Hall on
3. October 26, 2019 at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon.

4. CALL TO ORDER:
5. The Session was call to order at exactly 2:45 o’clock in the afternoon
6. with an Opening Prayer led by Hon. Jean O. Lood followed by the Pambansang
7 Awit led by Barangay Secretary, Lovejoy P. Dagasuhan.

8. ROLL CALL AND DECLERATION OF QUOROM:
9. The Presiding Officer called the roll which showed 8 members present and
10. one (1) member absent at the Sangguniang Barangay. Thereby the
11. Presiding Officer calls the quorum to wit:

23. READING AND CONSIDERATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES:

24. A. Hon. Quillano B. Maglinte - moved for the silent reading of Previous Minutes
25. and duly seconded by Hon. Deborito A. Fajardo.

26. B. Hon. Clyde B. Galceran - moved for no correction of the Previous Minutes
27. and duly seconded by Hon. Glorina J. Quirino.

28. PRIVILEDGE HOUR:

29. A. Hon. Glorina J. Quirino - was recognized and she is overwhelmed and
30. thankful for the successful outcome of the
31. Barangay Assembly.
32. - thus, she suspend the role to insert on the
33. Calendar of Business the Proposal measures on
34. Flood Control to endorse directly to the National
35. and this was duly seconded by Hon. Jean O. Lood.
36. - she went to the Senate and unexpectedly her
37. visit to the senate coincide with the Flood Control.
38. she then suggested to make a Resolution on Flood
39. Control System.
40. - the resettlement for the affected households of
41. Flood control project is at Imelda “ANDAM USWAG”
42. - one of the guidelines of newly created Barangay is
43. “Smile bisan gi sapot”.

44. B. Hon. Deborito a. Fajardo – was recognized and he then appreciated

45. and thanked Hon. Glorina J. Quirino for her
46. generosity on not only giving rice but food as well
47. during the Barangay Assembly.
48. - a Nutritionist from Region X came to visit and
49. inspect the garden here in our Barangay.

50. C. Hon. Leah V. Dagasuhan – during the meeting on the construction of Flood
51. Control, Congresswoman Juliette T. Uy was thankful
52. that large number of constituents came and
53. attended on the said meeting. This shows that the
54. Council of this Barangay is united, she then took
55. pictures with the Barangay Functionaries.
56. - Cong. Julliette T. Uy went to the Barangay Health
57. Center and was amazed that the medicine cabinet
58. was full of medicines. She poses a “Thumbs up” as
59. a sign of her appreciation..
60. - Cong. Julliette T. Uy went inside the Barangay
61. Rescue Responder where Hon. Joegil J. Quirino
62. opens up about the 5% share for the BDRRM
63. and solicit for TV, Life Jacket and Go Bag.

64. D. Hon. Jefferson A. Valcueba – was recognized and says I was the one who
65. accompanied the Nutritionist from Region X to
66. check & inspect our garden if our Barangay will
67. qualify to compete.

68. E. Hon. Shem P. Bajao - was recognized and thankful for the positive
69. outcome of all the Barangay activities.

70. QUESTION HOUR:

71. A. Hon. Quillano B. Maglinte – raised question address to Barangay Treasurer
72. Dangie E. Badajos about the submission of the
73. Supplemental Budget.

74. B. Barangay TreasurerDangie E. Badajos - answered the query of Hon. Quillano

75. B. Maglinte “not yet”.

76. C. Hon. Glorina J. Quirino - informed the body to asked the previous
Administration if they already made a Resolution
77. about Flood Control.

78. REPORT OF OFFICER:

79. A. Barangay Treasurer Dangie E. Badajos – reported the total collection of
80. CTC and OR as of October 1- 21, 2019
81. 50% CTC share is P1, 050.00 plus the total O.R.
82. P 3,710.00 and the total cash on bank as of
83. October 25, 2019 is P 47,910.93 instead of
84. P 47, 410.93 (clerical error). She then presented
85. to the council the AIP FY 2019.

86. COMMITTEE REPORT:

87. - as there is no committee report the council
88. proceeded to tackle the next business.

89. CALENDAR OF BUSINESS:

90. A. Hon. Glorina J. Quirino - states that the Barangay council should make a
91. Resolutions addressed to the Senate particularly
92. Senator Bong Go. She further states that the council
93. will make Resolution on Flood Control, construction
94. of Barangay hall and even more.

95. OTHER MATTERS:

96. A. Hon. Clyde B. Galceran - informed the council about the Christmas village
97. the structure that was assigned to the Poblacion 3
98. is to make a replica of coi pond in addition she
99. reminded the council about the meals and snacks
100. of the Kaadlawan dancers.

101. B. Barangay Treasurer Dangie E. Badajos – “we can provide the snacks but
102. we will temporarily stop in making barangay projects”

103. C. Hon. Clyde B. Galceran - we will just finished and complete the cyclone of
104. Purok 6 day care center.

105. ADJOURNMENT:
106. A. there being no matter to be discussed, the Punong Barangay adjourned the
107. 19th Regular Session at exactly 4:10 in the
108. afternoon.
