LEARNING OBJECTIVE By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1. Demonstrate appreciation through non-verbal responses to i) simple chants and
raps ii) simple rhymes iii) simple action songs

ACTIVITIES PRE-LESSON Guessing game. pupils ask you about what colour it is and guess,
e.g. Teacher: It’s a fruit. Pupils: Is it blue? No. Is it yellow? Yes. Is it
a banana? Yes.
LESSON DELIVERY 1. Teacher shows puts flashcards with pictures of the six main
colours on the board. Pupils differentiate them as
primary/secondary colours.
2. Each pupil writes the name of their favourite colour on a paper.
3. Pupils sing the song again and hold up their flashcard when they
hear their colour.
4.Pupils to make their own colour booklets. In each page the draw
anything and colour it .
POST LESSON Pupils present their booklet in front the classroom.

ACTIVITIES PRE-LESSON Task 2 : Guess The Answer
LESSON DELIVERY 1. Teacher shows some pictures of animal and habitat to the
pupils.
2. Teacher then teaches pupils to describe the picture. For
example, “The lion lives in the jungle.”
3. Teacher then provides few more sentences about the picture.
These sentences are either true or false.
4. Pupils need to read and decide with their pair.
5. They write a True/False at the space provided.
6. Advance pupils create true/false sentence for another pupil to
read.
