I- OBJECTIVES

At the end of 60-minute period, students will be able to:

a. discuss the ingredients and procedure in making hamburger

b. enumerate the things to consider in preparing hamburger, and

c. value the importance of ingredients and procedure in cooking.

B. PRELIMINARIES OF THE LESSON

Before we proceed to our new lesson let


have first a recap of our past lesson.

Ingredients:
4 pcs hamburger patty
4 pcs hamburger buns

2 tbsp. ketchup
½ cup mayonnaise
4 pcs lettuce leaves
4 sliced tomato
4 sliced onions.
For the Hamburger Patty
500 g ground beef
2 tbsp. BBQ sauce
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
½ tsp. garlic powder
Mise en place
1. Mix all the ingredients for the hamburger
patties.
2. Split the mixture into four. Form each patty
into ¾ inch. Press the center of the patty to
form a well to prevent the patty from bulging
while cooking.
3. Combine the mayonnaise and ketchup to
make the sauce and set aside.
4. Split hamburger buns, if they are not
sliced.
Procedure
1. Heat the grill.
2. Place the hamburger patties in the grill.
Grill for 4-5 minutes. Then flip the patties and
cook for another 4-5 minutes.
3. Spread mayo/ ketchup sauce in the
insides of the hamburger buns.
4. Place lettuce.
5. Place the cook hamburger patties and
top them with cheese.
6. Arrange the tomato and onion on top of
the cheese.
7. Top it with the other side of the hamburger
bun.

V- EVALUATION

Direction: Answer the following question.


Write your answer on a ½ sheet of paper
(crosswise).
Test l- Write at least three ingredients in
making hamburger.
Test ll- Write at least two things that we need
to consider in preparing the ingredients of
hamburger.
Test lll- Write at least 3 procedure in making
hamburger.
