Sir/Madam:

Good day!

I am Jenny E. De Leon, an elementary school teacher in Tanval Elementary School of

Calbayog IV District. I am purposely writing this letter to express my intent to transfer to Nijaga
Elementary School or to any possible elementary school near to our residence.

I am wishing to transfer in Nijaga Elementary School primarily for the following reasons, to
wit:

1. My mother is a fifty-five year-old woman. She has been in a worse condition since she lost
her eyesight when I was a kid because of diabetic complications. My father is working in
Manila to earn for a better living. I am the one who is left to take care of my mother. Since I
was staying in Tanval on weekdays, no one was there to attend to my mother’s needs.
Hence, it will be a great help for my family if I will be assigned near to my residence.

2. I can’t do extraneous activities which include hiking for hours. If I hike long hours, after
that, I can hardly breathe. I am panting because of so much tiredness. With that, my co-
teachers would always wait for me to recover and gain energy to continue hiking which
results to be late to report in our station.

3. I am a resident of Barangay Nijaga. I lived here since I was a kid together with my family
so it is more convenient if I will be working here. If I will be transferred, I could save
significant amount enough to augment our income to defraying family expenses.

I am fervently hoping and wishing that this request be granted and be given
attention. If granted, I will be forever grateful for your consideration and understanding to
my situation.
