Low Budget Stain remover

ABSTRACT:

This is not an investigatory project because there were no new methods

introduced to improve the effectively of Calamansi in removing stains. However, if

revisions and innovations about the product and its process will be introduced, it will be

a good Research.

The Investigatory Project on CALAMANSI as STAIN REMOVER was conduct

to determine the alternative product in removing the stain in dress. The research

study will conducted to find an effective fruit stain remover made from the fruit juices

of calamansi, kamias, dalandan, and also cane vinegar. It is important because

the study was promoting the use of natural stain removers as an alternative to the

synthetic stain removers. The data shows that the calamansi is more effective

in removing the stains of rusting iron. Physico-chemical characteristics

of calamansi juice, The calamansi was poured in the dress that containing stains and

exposed the dress under the sun for 40 minutes.

This investigatory project research specifically aims:

1.To make an alternative product in zonrox/Clorox in removing stains.

2. To protect the hands/skin in the strong chemical that zonrox/Clorox containing.

It also sought to answer the following problems:

 1.How to produce calamansi as stained remover?

2.What is the efficiency of the calamansi in the removing stains.

INTRODUCTION:

CALAMANSI as STAIN REMOVER has gained prominence as an important

business project. It gives people and provides them with extra income. Most importantly,

it is cheap and do not containing high quality of chemical that can burn your skin in hand.

This production/experiment usually prepared by student or just an ordinary

children.

Calamansi as stain remover is an alternative way to substitute Zonrox. It is cheap

and does not containing high quality of chemical that can burn your skin in hand. This

Investigatory Project is usually prepared by student or just an ordinary kid. We all know

the calamansi as an ingredient to make a sauce but we don’t know all of its uses so I have

decided to do this Investigatory Project it was very simple and easy. This won’t take too

long. In this, I’ve use calamansi and I will observe if it is effective in removing stain.

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM:
 The study has conducted to determine if the CALAMANSI is effective as

STAINEDREMOVER. To determine the efficiency of CALAMANSI as an important

product in removing stains The specific objectives of the study include the following:

1.How effective is the CALAMANSI as stained remover?

2.Is there a significant difference of CALAMANSI as stain remover to the

zonrox/Clorox?

HYPOTHESIS:

1.There is significant in using CALAMANSI as stain remover in washing white

clothes.

2.There is no significant in using CALAMANSI as stain remover in washing

white clothes.
“stains is one of the most struggles that we've always encountered when washing clothes. It is
known to be one of the causes difficulty in washing clothes. It causes discoloration, sticks to the
fabric and slowly destroys the clothes making it a dilemma for some people who want neat
clothes. Stains are usually formed when the staining substance, which is usually a liquid or
chemical, is spilled onto the surface or material. It is then trapped in the fibers, indentations, or
pores of the clothes. The surface stain that is trapped coats the underlying fabric material, and it
reflects back the light and its color making it different to look at from the fabric. People get
surface stains once in a while because of business and clumsiness but others get stains in certain
degree that it is difficult to remove and leaves a mark for a long period of time.

There are several stain removing agents that are out in the market. Each one promises to remove
stains completely and quickly as possible. In the Philippines, where there are many alternatives
to removing stains, people can always find affordable stain removing agents. One of the cheaper
and practical alternative staining remover is Citrus

fruits. Citrus fruit is typically different from other staining agents like bleaches, and ordinary
solvents such as water.

These cheap agents are usually found in the kitchen of every Filipino. It is also found in markets
and groceries, or one can even grow Citrus fruits the backyard since it can be propagated in a
tropical climate.

In this connection, the researchers are persuaded to look into the topic for academic research
purposes. This topic has been subjected to investigation by many researchers and most of the
study is focused on lemon and other citrus fruits commonly found in foreign countries. This
study will focus on Lemon and Calamansi, which is commonly found in the Philippines,
especially in Cebu. While many researchers focus on the components of a certain citrus fruit and
its bleaching properties, there is a less study comparing which would be better, Calamansi or
Lemon?. Cost and time is also the reason why this research is conducted. It is less time
consuming and not costly. This research will give new knowledge and information that could
possibly be extracted from the experiment. In addition, future researchers can use this as a basis
for their studies.”
