1.0 Purpose
To Define the Work Methodology to be adopted for Carrying out false ceiling at
the Project
2.0 Scope
Include false ceiling (LINEAR PATTERN FALSE CEILING (84C) , CLIP IN TILE
CEILING (600X 600 ) ,GYPSUM BOARD FALSE CEILING AND MINERAL FIBER
FALSE CEIING to be carried out at various stages during construction

5.0 REFERANCE DRAWINGS

6.0 MAN POWER

Skilled false ceiling team will be doing the works.
7.0 ACTIVITIES
1) Sample shall be inspected prior start of false ceiling work. (MTC HAS TO BE
THERE AND IMIR HAS TO BE RAISED)
2) Scaffolds with necessary safety requirements will be erected to carryout works
at height.
3) Before fixing of puff panels all vertical structural members for holding cat walk
has to be provided by electrical vendor.
4) Puf panels as per approved manufacture and specs shall be sticked to the
ceiling with Pidilite 558 or any approved adhesive.
After fixing of puff panels 0.05 mm aluminum foil has to be sticked to the exposed
surface and 24 gx 25 mm chicken mesh shall spead over the aluminum foil. The
mesh shall be tightly hold and anchored at two places of 1000x 500) boards using
raul plugs with GI plate washer of size 50 mm x 50 mm.
If provision of screw is not possible due to any means 100x 50x 6 sloted angle
shall be anchored to the beam soffit and 14g wire shall be drawn and locked at
both ends to fix the chicken mesh.

5) Before fixing of false ceiling all HVAC and electrical wiring has to be completed
and light fitting sizes to be cut has to be clear.
Care should be taken that flush type light fittings shall not be used. Light fittings
with extended portion to cover the opening cut lines shall be used.
Room plaster has to be in right angle. Level has to be marked at the edges and
edge angle shall be provided
Hangers @ 1200 mm c/c using wire as per manufacture specs shall be fixed to the
ceiling using screws. And runners to hold the ceiling tiles shall be fixed. The
runners has to be leveled perfect so that there shall not be any undulations while
fixing the tiles

Tiles shall be fixed from one side and care should be taken to avoid undulations.
The opening for return air grills ac grills, fire dectuctors, fire springlers etc and
lights shall be provided in line with the samples provided or fixed along with false
ceiling.

8.0 Safety
Safety helmets, shoes belts, Goggles, Ear plug and gloves will be provided for
skilled person. Area lighting will be provided for night work. Good housekeeping
will be ensured. Safety Supervisor shall ensure that Safety Precautions are taken
and Safe Work Environ mentis maintained
