ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

As part of the Youth Environment In School Organization (YES-O) I together with my

co-officers planned and decided to have a Weeding and Clean Up Drive activity along
Burnham – Legarda Barangay specifically near and around Baguio City National High School
and Athletic Bowl last January 27,2020 at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
I together with the other officers decided to push through with this activity because
we can help our environment specifically our school to be eco friendly by segregating and
cleaning the trash not only inside the school but rather outside of it
The Grade 10 teachers from different departments along with some Yes-O officers
and other students went to the back of the Alumni Building and started the weeding activity.
Each of us has a trash bag were we should put the trash that we got. I and other participants
also removed and clear unwanted plants near the pine trees which were planted 2 years ago
and pick up some residuals. After the activity, the bags of residuals were brought to the
residual disposal area between ESF bldg. and Flavier I bldg. and the bags of PET bottles were
brought to the MRF for storing.
It was observed during this activity that there were many residuals like plastic
wrappers, cups, cellophanes emptied bottles and lunch boxes, soiled clothes and the worst
is the cigarettes that were scattered along the area that made us shocked because of its
numerous number.
One of the contingency plan that we have if this activity will not have done during the
said date because of the busy schedule it will moved to next week but surely we will push
through with it even though there are less participants and will surely expected to have
successfully finish this activity.
As the secretary I monitor the implementation of this activity by preparing some
attendance sheets were the participants should sign and add some documentation for
reference. We manage it by using the trash bags that were donated and given by the students
to lessen the expenses.

This first photo shows during the weeding activity. Teachers together with the students in helping to
weed and to pick some trash at the back of the Alumni Bldg. We decided to give some trash bag
where we can put the trash we have collected.

This second photo shows after the activity. This picture shows the participants in the activity. As ne of
the participants I’m in the right side of the picture beside me is Ma’am Jhobelle Gonzalez. Moreover,
this picture shows that we already collected much trash that you can see in the bump of the trash
bags that we are holding.
