Punctured air bellows on 6x2*4 and 8x2*4

Background
On 6x2*4 and 8x2*4 chassis types with normal The bottom shock absorber retaining bolt
chassis and bellows heights, the left-hand front should be changed for a shorter one so that it
axle bellows may develop a puncture. will not come into contact with the bracket for
the anti-roll bar.
The bottom shock absorber bracket on the left-
hand side can chafe against the air bellows in Production start for the new bracket:
connection with suspension deflection. This

side because there is greater clearance between
Scania Angers: 9 030 758
bracket and bellows on this side.

Action
The bottom bracket can be changed for a lower
bracket which provides greater clearance be-
tween it and the bellows. The shock absorber
need not be changed.
