Reporter: BAYAWAN CITY, Senior High School becomes the first recipient of the first e-
Library project of the Local Government Unit (LGU) through the School Education Fund
(SEF). During Inauguration and Turn-over Ceremonies.

SDO Bayawan City together with its neighboring institution Bayawan National High
School- Senior High School once again held its pride in the inauguration and turn-over
ceremonies of Dep Ed funded facilities namely the sports hub, division office expansion,
conference halls and the SHS eLibrary containing 16 ipads, 1 iMac, 4 i7 laptops on July
3, 2019 with the attendance of the City Mayor Hon. Pryde Henry A. Teves, Congressman
of the 3rd District of Negros Oriental Hon. Arnulfo A. Teves, Board Member Hon. (Jack
Raymond), City Counselor Hon. Niko Angelo Lim, City SK Federation, Hon. Tristan
Gold Torillo, Bayawan City Schools Division Superintendent Ma. Theresa V. Avanzado
CESO VI and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Adolf P. Aguilar in partnership
with the SHS Principal Cherryl May A. Honcuay Ph.D. some of the Bayawan City
Division and LGU personnel who took part in the ribbon cutting of the SHS eLibrary and
the ground breaking of the BNHS-SHS multipurpose court, SDO Bayawan City sports
hub, interactive hub and governance hub. Other than the highlights of the event, Hon.
Pryde Henry A. Teves promised to provide more of these holistic learning facilities
needed by the school and improve the internet access of the school with more routers and
gadgets to accommodate the needs of every learner.
