INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Blended Training in HOUSEKEEPING NCII. During the training duration, we will have
two kinds of learning environment: Online and Face to Face learning. In online learning, you will be reading
trainer facilitated and self-paced learning materials, experiencing interactive exercises and watching
different videos and simulations on the LMS. In Face to Face learning, you will experience actual skills
practice and demonstration to be held at the training center where the complete tools, materials and
equipment are available.

This course is designed to enhance your knowledge, skills, positive attitude and work values in accordance
with the prevailing standards in the Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector with proper
consideration of the government’s initiative in addressing the COVID-19 pandemic and adopting OPLAN
TESDA Abot Lahat: TVET towards a New Normal. This encompasses competencies required in Developing
Event Program knowledge, skills, behavior and motivations required to design an event program. Event
managers, either internal or external to the sponsoring organization, would generally undertake this role.

The unit deals with the skills and knowledge required from housekeeping attendants to clean and
prepare rooms for incoming guests in a commercial accommodation establishment.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of this module, you should be able to:

1. Determine the different types of accommodation properties.

2. Perform the different styles of bed making.

3. Clean and prepare rooms properly.
