ENGL 4021 M03 MINUTES
Meeting Date: August 25th, 2020

Call to Order:
A regular meeting of the Course ENGL 4021 M03 of the University of Puerto Rico at Ponce was held
remotely via Google Meet video conference on August 25th, 2020. The meeting convened at 9:00 a.m.,
Professor LeCompte presiding and Katrina Cedeño Báez, secretary. All students attended except: Mileyshka
Loyo.

Approval of Minutes:
Minutes of the August 13th, 2020 meeting were approved as distributed to members of the course.
Motions were presented to approve other students’ minutes. Motions carried.

Matters Discussed:
1. Professor LeCompte welcomed students to the meeting and presented the agenda of the day.

2. Students completed the free writing exercise under the two-minute limit; some students later
volunteered to share their writing.

3. All students who volunteered to write the minutes for the meeting held on August 13th, 2020
presented their minutes to the class; the minutes were then evaluated in order to determine if they
could be approved or if they needed corrections.

4. Other members of the course volunteered to write the class minutes of the meeting held on
August 25th, 2020.

5. Professor LeCompte gave a brief explanation of the technical document assignments,

specifically about the trip report.

6. The professor informed that the assignment involving the mouse trap and piece of candy was
going to be postponed to August 27th, 2020. Discussion of the progress report was also postponed
to the mentioned date.

7. The professor assigned students to add specific extensions to the Google Chrome browser in
order to enhance the performance in future meetings held on Google Meet.

Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
