SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL SEEKS TO RECRUIT 1 Logistics Officer

Solidarités International (SI) is a French humanitarian organisation operating in Myanmar since May 2008. SI’s current programs in Myanmar include:
- Provision of life-saving and humanitarian assistance to families affected by violence in Rakhine State. This program is currently implemented in IDP camps, host and surroundings
communities in Sittwe, Pauktaw Townships.
- Emergency response to conflict-affected populations in Kachin State through an improved access to water, sanitation and hygiene as well as food security and livelihood activities.
- Strengthening of the Rapid Response Mechanism for the food needs of displaced people in Kachin State
The programs are currently implemented in IDP camps, host and surroundings communities in Bhamo, Shwegu, Mansi, and Momauk Townships

Job Location: SITTWE with frequents travels to field office Beginning of contract: 18 January 2021
Contract duration: 5 months with possibility of extension Probation period: 6 weeks

Job Description Requirements

Storage management: Personal abilities:
 Supervise the regular cleaning of the warehouses  Educational Qualification- Certificate in High
 Supervise the monitoring of incoming and outgoing program stock (with logistics workers) School
 Ensure the stock forms are updated in real time by logistics worker – Entries of stock, outs of stock, stock  Advanced level English- Spoken and written
cards, bin cards and ensure the waybill procedures are well respected and implemented
 Rigour, reactive, flexible, trustful, autonomous
 Participate in monthly stored goods and equipment inventories and reconciliation with what should be in
stock  Good communication skills
 Able to work under pressure
Premises management:
 Ensure that the regular cleaning of the premises and office are done daily
 Ensure small materials needed are available in SI Pak Taw offices (drinking water, stationeries, office supplies,
