 ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

PURPOSE
The purpose of this assignment is to develop the student’s ability in explaining the
characteristics of a public listed company in Malaysia based on relevant evidence and analyse
corporate governance matters that are associated with the public listed company in Malaysia.

REQUIREMENT
Choose a public listed company in Malaysia. Explain the characteristics of the chosen company
that are consistent with the characteristics of a public listed company in Malaysia based on
relevant evidence. Finally, analyse on the corporate governance matters that are associated
with the chosen company.

Note: Student needs to use at least 6 related journal articles and/or other references for this
assignment. Journal articles and/or other references used must be published from the year
2010 onwards.

TUJUAN
Tujuan tugasan ini adalah untuk membangunkan keupayaan pelajar untuk menerangkan ciri-ciri
syarikat tersenarai awam di Malaysia berdasarkan bukti yang relevan dan menganalisis hal-hal
pembangunan tadbir urus korporat yang berkaitan dengan syarikat tersenarai awam di Malaysia.

KEPERLUAN
Pilih sebuah syarikat tersenarai awam di Malaysia. Terangkan ciri-ciri syarikat pilihan yang
konsisten dengan ciri-ciri syarikat tersenarai awam di Malaysia berdasarkan bukti yang relevan.
Akhir sekali, analisis hal-hal tadbir urus korporat yang berkaitan dengan syarikat pilihan.

Nota: Pelajar perlu menggunakan sekurang-kurangnya 6 artikel jurnal dan/atau rujukan lain
berkaitan untuk tugasan ini. Artikel jurnal dan/atau rujukan lain yang digunakan mesti diterbitkan
dari tahun 2010 ke atas.
