SUBJECT : “DEPED TEACHES” EPISODES FOR SY 2020-2021 AND


ITS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

1. The Office of the Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction launched


the “DepEd Teaches” and presented the pilot episodes last December 14-18
2020. This is in support of the current efforts of the Department in
communicating with various stakeholders and in updating school officials
and teachers in various field units on relevant concerns on curriculum and
instruction.

2. This Office shall continue the production and streaming of DepEd Teaches
for SY 2020-2021. Episodes will be live streamed every Thursdays, 2:00 to
2:30 PM starting January 21, 2021. DepEd Teaches episodes and topics are
based from the result of the Training Needs Analysis Survey conducted to
teachers last December 2020. DepEd Teaches episodes schedule and topics
are shown in Enclosure 1 of this Memorandum.

3. To reach a wide number of DepEd teachers and personnel, DepEd Teaches


shall be live-streamed in various online platforms of the Department, to wit:
a. DepEd Philippines Facebook Page
b. DepEd Tayo Facebook Page
c. DepEd Teaches Facebook Page

4. In line with this, all CI personnel, field offices personnel and teachers are
encouraged to watch the DepEd Teaches episodes and updates through the

aforementioned social media platforms. Further, regional and division offices
may re-stream the episodes to their respective social media platforms.
