1. Prior to the PLC session, Mdm. Daphne requested that the All attendees
attendees view a video on a teacher who used a video for her
lesson. Attendees are also required to download the latest
SKPMg2 form use it to score the teacher’s performance. Both
video and form are attached in the same folder with this report.
2. Focus of the PLC as listed below:- All attendees
- importance of including differentiated learning to enable
pupils of all levels to grasp and take part in the lesson
- learning objectives must be measurable and not vague
- teachers are encouraged to include HOTS elements to
encourage pupils to think out of the box via plenaries
and Q-matrix charts
- in lieu of the Covid-19 pandemic and MCO enforced by
the government, pupils are not encouraged to
congregate in large groups, hence teachers can use
exit charts where pupils use stick-it notes to convey
their ideas and thoughts at the end of the lesson.
- teachers are encouraged to have a discussion with their
assessors after a teaching assessment to fine tune and
moderate the assessment
3. The next proposed PLC with Mdm. Daphne involving the Mdm. Daphne and
teachers of SJK(C) Siang Lin and SK(P) Durian Daun is on the Panel Heads
16th of June and will be confirmed on a later date.
