1.0 LEARNING OUTCOMES
2.0 EQUIPMENT
Equipment/Instruments:
1) Multimeter – 1 unit
2) Breadboard – 1 unit
3) DC power supply – 1
unit Components:
1) Resistor 10kΩ – 1 pc
2) Resistor 20kΩ – 1 pc
3) Jumper wire
4.0 PROCEDURE
Table 1.1
20kΩ
3. With power supply off, assemble the circuit as in Figure 1.1. Make sure the multimeter
probe using correct polarity so that they indicate positive or upscale values.

Figure 1.1
4. Turn on the power supply and set the supply voltage to 2V. Then record the current value.
5. Repeat step 4 for other value of voltage and the current value in Table 1.2.

2. Make sure your circuit is complete with correct value of resistors.
3. Turn on the power supply, then adjusts the supply voltage to 10V.
4. Measure the current flow through each branch and record it on the Table 1.3.

5.0 RESULTS & DISCUSSION
1. Based on Table 1.2, shows graphically that I and V are directly proportional.
2. Is the result in Table 1.3 and Table 1.4 able to prove the current divider and voltage
divider theory? Explain.
3. Prove that Vsupply = Vtotal voltage drop for the circuit shown in Figure 1.3 by using result in
Table 1.4.
6.0 CONCLUSION
Write your conclusion base on what you have learned from this lab activity.
