ACTIVITY I: Module Lesson Questions


Instruction: Answer the following questions, write your answer
in the space provided.
1. How deep is your level of comprehension?
I consider myself as having an average level of comprehension, Though
I understand what am I reading and writing, there is always a thing or
word I can’t comprehend that is the time were I used internet for me to
fully understand an unknown word. Having an average level of
comprehension makes me develop the so called curiosity which led me
to discover more word and their designated meaning and uses

2. Which of the new literacies are you knowledgeable in?


Aside from being a student I am also an employee of a prestigious
company, this situation of my life transform me of being
knowledgeable in writing and reading, it is mandatory for me to be fully
equip with this knowledge in order for me to perform my task
effectively and efficiently. Furthermore, it our bridge to learn
something new especially for a student like us.

3. Describe the changes in the 21st century that have led to the rise
of new literacies.
It is undeniably useful and somehow confusing especially for those
teacher who have their expertise in the old curriculum However,
literacy skills in the twenty-first century increasingly reflect technology
use and the talents required to solve problems, collaborate, and convey
information using multi-media. As technology becomes more accessible
to all kids, literacy concepts shift.

FINAL TASK
Make a lesson plan that incorporates some of the new and old
literacies.

Procedure:
1. Divide the class into 3 groups
2. Every group should have 10 students to do the task.
3. Each group should be given 15 minutes allotted time to finish the
activity.
4. Assemble the given puzzle to each group.
