Dear Sirs,
The earth work for some section of the captioned project is undergoing
following the starting of the dry season and the Row clearing.
While executing the excavation work black cotton soil is encountered
which shall be spoiled and replaced with suitable material. Particularly,
the material beneath the inverted elevation of the drainage pipes are found
to be black cotton soil for some of the section which requires replacement
before laying the drainage pipes.
For section 5 RHS the unsuitable soil material under the drainage is
removed up to 30cm deep and replaced by capping material for the entire
section.
We expect some of the sections might involve such unsuitable material to
be replaced by suitable material to the required depth depending on the
actual soil condition.
This is therefore, to request you to consider this situation to allow us to
replace the unsuitable material under the drainage and give us approval to
the already executed works (section 5 RHS).
Thanking you in advance for your cooperation, we remain.
Sincerely yours
Wang Yang
