I. Introduction (Time Frame: 30 minutes
This lesson covers the knowledge and skills of lay outing and installing wire ways. It includes the information of the provisions,
articles and types of wire ways.

Conditions

Procedures

1. Prepare the area for the layout and installation of wire ways.
2. Prepare all the necessary tools, materials and supplies.
3. Wear the appropriate PPE.
4. Layout wire ways in horizontal and vertical direction.
5. Measure the location of support for screw.
6. Install wire way and locate support prior to job requirements.
7. Observe good housekeeping.

Learning Task 2:
Direction: Answer the following question briefly.
1. State the reasons why there is a need to observe good housekeeping in the job.
2. Give the significance of accuracy in the measurement.
3. What are the necessary conditions that an electrician need to consider in installing wire ways?
